This TRS to TRRS microphone patch cable is compatible with iPhone, iPad, Samsung, LG, Pixel and other Android Smartphones. This SC7 patch microphone cable will allow you to connect your compatible smartphones with an external microphone for superior voice quality recording.
Configuration: 3.5mm TRS (Tip Ring Sleeve, 3-Pole) Male to 3.5mm TRRS (Tip Ring Ring Sleeve, 4-Pole) Male, Approximately 9 inches long (coiled length).
Instruction and Important Notes: 1. New smartphones now require a 3.5mm adapter. Please make sure that the output of the 3.5mm adapter is TRRS. We recommended that you use your phone manufacturer’s 3.5mm jack adapter. 2. Plug the grey head (3 rings or TRRS side) into the smartphone mic/headset jack or the 3.5mm adapter that requires a TRRS input, and the black one into the microphone.
Very Important Note: This is not compatible with cameras or camcorders. For cameras or camcorders, use the TRS-TRS cable. See alternatives in “Product Description” section.
